Cassie and Dylan
Location: Thousand Acres, Troutale, OR
Erin and Steve
Location: Mt. Tabor City Park, Portland, OR
What can I say, other than Erin and Steve are one cool couple! They are both artists, being glass blowers and they have a shop in their backyard where they work together. Even though this was an engagement session, we turned it into a mini-maternity session for Erin also. They were such a blast to hang out with and the highlight for me was after we wrapped up the engagement session on Mt. Tabor and went back to the shop for a couple more photos of them working together with the glass. It was mesmerizing! I may have found a new hobby that I want to get into....hmmm. Can't wait for their wedding on New Year's Eve!
Lee and Andy
Location: Multnomah County Library (downtown Portland)
and Plumper Pumpkin Patch (Cornelious)
Andy and Lee met in college and were lab partners; Lee was quick (and proud) to announce that they were both nerds, hence the reason why we went to Multnomah Central Library in Downtown. (Some of the cutest nerds I've ever met. lol) Then it was out to Plumper Pumpkin Patch at sunset for some field and sunset shots with some lovely vintage suitcases, gravel roads, and fields.
Heather and Kristian
Location: Mountain View Stables, Oregon City
Heather and Kristian are one of those modern love stories that kind of sounds like something out of a movie...for instance, they met through an online dating website, and during one of those dates, Heather had to perform the Heimlich Maneuver on Kristian while he was choking on his meal. Needless to say, they were loads of fun and there was rarely a dull moment during this engagement session.
We couldn't have asked for better weather! The grass was so green, the horses were gorgeous and well-mannered, and Heather and Kristian were naturals in front of the camera. There were so many "blooper" shots with the animals that I might end up posting in the near future!
True Love- 30 Year Anniversary Session
Natalya and Viktor are celebrating 30 years of being married! Unfortunately, in today's world, it's a rarity to hear of people being married more than a couple of years; which is why this session was so much fun and meaningful for me to capture.
They wanted some pics that show a little bit of their lives together...every day life and simple things that have been special to them over the years...like tea! :)
Location: Thousand Acres, Troutale, OR
I met Cassie and Dylan on a Saturday in November at the Thousand Acre park in Troutdale in literally FREEZING temperatures (ok, maybe it was 40 degrees) but with the gusts of wind we experienced, it could have been freezing for all we know. The two of them were champs, as was their beautiful dog Chloe, who was convinced that facing the camera was the most difficult thing she had ever done and she much preferred giving the camera her rear most of the time! lol. I have to pick on something so minor to make fun of because Cassie and Dylan were AWESOME to work with; super photogenic and such a great couple, it felt by the end of the photoshoot we had known each other for a while.

In-Love Session-Val + Tony
Valerie and Tony have been married for a little longer than 3 years, but when they look at eachother, you'd think they just got married yesterday. Halfway through the shoot, while changing outfits in the car, Valerie, who was putting her hair up in bobby pins, started freaking out, talking about a something cold crawling down the back of her shirt. It was quite a scene while Tony attempted to get the bug out.
"There's nothing down there but a bobby pin, Val!"
Needless to say, Tony and I lost it, while poor Valerie just shook her head watching us. They were bunches of fun.

Jessy + Ricky
I met Jessy not too long ago at work and found out very quickly that she just got engaged and was getting married. Not too much longer after that we found ourselves in downtown Pensacola one evening taking engagements pictures. Jessy and Ricky are very photogenic and a lot of fun to be around. Can't wait for the wedding in December!
Liisa + Brian Engagement Pictures
Location: Downtown Pensacola, and Gulf Breeze Pier
I met Liisa my Senior year when I found out who my floorleader partner would be for the next year. Throughout that year, we had so many experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. I was super exited when I found out Liisa and Brian got engaged, and even more excited when they asked me to do their engagement pictures, and even more excited when they asked me to do their wedding in June in Washington.
We ran out to the pier just as Tropical Storm Leah was approaching in the horizon. So, the clouds you see in these pictures are real! We had so much fun. There were multiple "blooper" pictures of Brian trying to hold the umbrella from flying away in the wind. I wish I could post all of them!
