Trash The Dress-Winter Wonderland
Location: Trillium Lake, Mt. Hood

I LOVED everything about this photo session; it feels like Alison stepped out of a fairy-tale or Narnia or something. I reallllly enjoyed being able to to work with a very talented photographer and friend (Amy), and liked learning her style of poses, lighting, etc.  Alison was such a great sport and model, willing to try anything, and looking stunning the whole time.  Thank you so much, Amy and Alison for collaborating together to make a dream come true-I've ALWAYS wanted to do a trash the dress session in the snow. Check that one off my list of things to do! Enjoy the pics!

Hannah-Bridal
Location: Gig Harbor, WA

Although this is not an actual  "Bridal Session" but were taken on Hannah's wedding day, I had so many favorite pics of Hannah, that I just had to create a whole separate section just for her; I figured that nobody would mind me putting it here in the Bridal Section.  Enjoy!

Amy-Bridal
Location: First Christian Church
Here's another actual non- "Bridal Session" but were taken on Amy's wedding day, I had so many favorite pics of Amy, that I had to create a whole separate section just for her; I figured that nobody would mind me putting it here in the Bridal Section.  Enjoy!

Scenda-Bridal Session
Location: A Random field, and a Random Road
It was raining when we started taking these pics.....so we found a neighborhood where trees overhung the road, which made for a perfect umbrella. We also provided some free entertainment for an elderly couple drinking coffee on their front porch.  Later the sun came out, making it a gorgeous morning for pics. A big thanks to Pamela (Scenda's friend) for coming along with us.

Laura-Bridal Session
Location: A Random field, and Naval Aviation Memorial Chapel
Laura and I met about 2 years ago but didn't really get to know eachother better, until the week of her wedding.  We took these bridal pictures one week before her wedding day.  ...And Laura claims she's not photogenic! HAH!! my foot!
Some of the ones in the field remind me of the lighting in Pride and Prejudice when Darcy comes tramping across to the field to Lizzy....ok, now I'm getting side-tracked.  Now to the pics!

Trash the Formal
I know this isn't a "bridal session" by any means, but figured I'd put it in this category anyways. I was so excited to do this shoot and Myra was such a good sport, tramping around in the woods and walking straight into the water, (and looking beautiful the whole time, I might add.)  Thanks so much for being so awesome, Myra.  You rock.

Jessy Bridal Session
Location: Fort Barrancas, Pensacola Navy Base
It was 57 degrees when we left my house in the morning on Saturday (that's cold for Florida) ,but thankfully the day ended up being perfect for pictures.  Jessy is very photogenic, and might I mention, very beautiful as well. Her wedding is not until December 17th, so we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather while we had it.

"Mama's Wedding Dress"
Location: Creepy, old, half-burned house off Hwy 26, Oregon
My mom announced that she was going to get rid of her wedding dress.  I hated the idea of it going to waste, so my mom graciously agreed to not get rid of her dress after I asked her if she'd be ok with me taking a random photoshoot with the dress.  Kitty made an excellent model; she has a "modern look" but the  "vintage-ness" (is that a word?) of the dress, made for a unique outcome, I think so at least.  Enjoy!
